About the Role:
As a Content Marketing Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day marketing activities of a growing e-commerce business. Working alongside an experienced marketing team, you'll learn how to create engaging content, promote leading fitness brands, and help drive online sales across multiple digital channels.
This apprenticeship is designed for someone with a genuine interest in digital marketing, social media, and content creation. You'll develop valuable skills in copywriting, photography and video, SEO, email marketing, and campaign planning while working towards a recognised marketing qualification.
No two days will be the same. From creating social media content and writing product descriptions to assisting with email campaigns, analysing marketing performance, and keeping up with the latest industry trends, you'll play an important role in helping the business connect with its customers.

Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in creating engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and the company website
· Support the team with day-to-day campaign planning and execution
· Help create photo and video content for digital marketing activities
· Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
· Monitor social media engagement and assist with community management
· Carry out basic SEO tasks such as keyword research and content optimisation
· Support email marketing campaigns, including content preparation and performance tracking
· Help analyse marketing results and prepare reports
· Research market trends, competitors, and new content ideas
· Assist with seasonal promotions, product launches, and other marketing projects (including events)
· Work collaboratively with different teams to ensure content is accurate and on-brand

Candidate Requirements
· GCSE Grade C/4+ in Maths and English (or equivalent)
· A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to limited public transport access)
· A creative mindset and willingness to learn
· An interest or experience in social media and content creation
· A genuine passion for fitness, CrossFit, Hyrox, or the wider fitness industry (essential)
· An interest in coffee is desirable
· Good commercial awareness, with an understanding of areas such as ROI, VAT, and business performance
· A proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently
· Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
The apprenticeship
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
· Campaign management;
· Content creation;
· Social Media marketing;
· Digital and traditional communications;
· Brand management;
· Communication skills;
· Project Management;
· And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
