The Marketing Trainer — the trading name of Game-On Coaching Limited (UKPRN 10092406) — delivers the Multi-channel marketer (level 3) and Market research executive (level 4) apprenticeship standards remotely across England. These are our own records for the 2025/26 academic year, published in full and ahead of the equivalent Department for Education data. Every apprentice due to complete in 2025/26 was on Multi-channel marketer (level 3), so the figures below describe that programme rather than a blend of the two.
Achievement
The proportion of apprentices due to complete in 2025/26 who achieved their apprenticeship.
37 apprentices were due to complete their apprenticeship with us in 2025/26. 34 achieved and 3 withdrew before completion, giving an achievement rate of 92% against a national average of 65%.
Because no apprentice who stayed on programme failed to achieve, our achievement rate and our retention rate are the same figure. The 3 apprentices we did not see through were the 3 who left; everyone who completed, passed.
Grades
How our apprentices performed, not just whether they finished.
| Outcome | Apprentices | Share of achievers |
|---|---|---|
| Distinction | 21 | 62% |
| Merit | 13 | 38% |
| Pass | 0 | 0% |
| Total achievers | 34 | 100% |
Every apprentice who achieved their apprenticeship in 2025/26 was awarded a merit or a distinction, and 62% were awarded a distinction.
Why we publish this and most providers don’t
Distinction rates are not part of the Department for Education’s published achievement data, so you cannot compare providers on grade profile using official figures — only on whether apprentices finished. We publish ours because how well an apprentice does matters as much as whether they got over the line. The figures above are our own records for 2025/26.
What Ofsted found
Inspected 19 May 2026. Our full report card is published separately.
Ofsted judged The Marketing Trainer to reach the Strong standard for Achievement and the Strong standard for Curriculum and teaching, with all other areas at the Expected standard and safeguarding standards met. Inspectors reached their own conclusions on the same period covered by the figures above.
“Apprentices make excellent progress from their starting points.”
On grades specifically, inspectors reported that achievement rates are very high, including for apprentices facing barriers to learning, and that a high proportion of apprentices achieve a distinction grade. They found assessed work to be of very high quality, routinely exceeding the level of study.
“Apprentices become proficient in search engine optimisation, leading to measurable improvements in employers’ revenue and brand presence.”

Progression and employers
Inspectors found that apprentices are very well prepared for their next steps, with a very high proportion moving confidently into sustained employment and many advancing rapidly into positions of increased responsibility. They reported that the skills apprentices develop are highly sought after by employers, and that employers hold apprentices in high regard for their technical ability and professionalism.
On our work with employers, inspectors found that we align curriculum content with employers’ specific job descriptions, identify gaps and shape additional training to reflect exact role expectations, and concluded that employers are highly satisfied with the training offered.
How to read these figures
Three things worth knowing before you weigh any of the numbers above.
These are our own records, published ahead of the official data
The Department for Education publishes provider achievement rates annually, roughly eighteen months after the year they cover. The official 2025/26 figures are expected in 2027. We publish ours now so employers considering an apprenticeship this year have something current to work from.
Our published DfE rate may show as “S”
Where a provider’s cohort is small enough that individual learners could be identified, the DfE suppresses the published achievement rate and shows an “S” instead of a number. This happened to our 2024/25 figure, and Ofsted mirrored the suppression in our report card. It reflects our size, not our performance.
Small cohorts move more
With 37 apprentices, a single additional withdrawal shifts our achievement rate by nearly 2.7 percentage points. We publish the number of apprentices alongside every percentage so you can judge the figures in proportion, and we will publish each year on the same basis whatever the result.
