How the mock exams work
Each paper is multiple choice and marked out of the number of questions on it — one mark each, nothing deducted for a wrong answer. You can move between questions, change your mind, and see at a glance which ones you haven’t answered yet. If you close the tab, your progress is still there when you come back.
When you hand in, we mark it and email you a report: your mark, how you did in each area of the syllabus, the questions you dropped with the correct answer and an explanation, and then the full paper. The explanations are the point — a mark on its own tells you where you are, not what to do about it.
These are practice papers written by our tutors. They are not set, moderated or marked by CIM, and the mark carries no formal weight towards a qualification — it’s there to show you what you know and what still needs work before you sit the real thing.
