About the Company
Our client is an established national training provider supporting learners and employers across a range of specialist sectors, with a particularly strong presence within healthcare and professional education.
The organisation delivers apprenticeship and training programmes across areas including pharmacy, science, dental and housing, working with employers and learners across the UK. They have built a strong reputation for providing flexible, industry-focused training designed to develop skilled professionals and support long-term career progression.
As the organisation continues to grow, they are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Apprentice to join their marketing team in Preston.
About the Role
This is a varied entry-level marketing position offering exposure to the full marketing campaign lifecycle. You’ll support the wider marketing team with everything from social media and content creation through to campaigns, events, CRM activity, audience research and performance tracking.
You’ll work across both digital and traditional marketing channels, learning how campaigns are planned, created, delivered and measured while developing an understanding of brand voice, customer journeys and different target audiences.
The role would suit someone looking to begin their marketing career who enjoys being creative, communicating ideas and learning new digital tools. Previous professional marketing experience isn’t expected.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
· Creating and publishing engaging content across social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, while helping identify new channels and opportunities.
· Supporting the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns across social media, email, web and print.
· Working with the marketing team to develop written, visual and video content for websites, social media and wider campaigns.
· Helping monitor campaign performance, engagement and other marketing metrics to understand what is working and where improvements can be made.
· Carrying out audience, competitor and market research to support future marketing activity.
· Supporting the organisation and promotion of industry events, webinars and other activities.
· Helping ensure marketing materials remain consistent with company branding, messaging and tone of voice.
· Supporting the management of the organisation’s CRM system, including keeping customer and prospect information accurate and up to date.
· Working collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and, where appropriate, external partners.
· Developing your knowledge of marketing technologies, platforms and emerging trends.
· Supporting the wider marketing team with additional projects and campaigns as required.
These responsibilities closely reflect the employer’s supplied brief, including its use of Dynamics 365 as the organisation’s CRM system.
Candidate Requirements
We’re not looking for someone who already knows everything about marketing. This is an apprenticeship, so attitude, potential and willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience.
The successful candidate will ideally:
· Have GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
· Ideally be educated to A-level, Level 3 or an equivalent standard.
· Have the right to live and work in the UK and meet the eligibility requirements for an apprenticeship.
· Have strong written English with good spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
· Be a confident verbal communicator who is comfortable working with different people across the organisation.
· Be creative and interested in marketing, social media, content and digital communications.
· Have some previous experience using creative tools such as Canva, Adobe software, CapCut or other graphic design or video editing software. This could have been through education, hobbies or personal projects rather than employment.
· Be comfortable using technology and willing to learn new software and marketing platforms.
· Be organised and capable of managing different tasks and deadlines.
· Be proactive and able to work independently when required while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
· Have good attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, professional work.
· Be enthusiastic, personable and willing to contribute ideas.
· Be curious and interested in understanding audiences, trends and what makes marketing content effective.
· Be reliable, professional and motivated to develop a long-term career within marketing.
What You’ll Receive
The employer currently offers a wider benefits package including:
· 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
· Company laptop and mobile phone
· Workplace pension scheme
· Full company induction and training
· Birthday voucher
· Additional employee-focused benefits and support
These benefits are taken directly from the employer’s supplied job description.
About the Apprenticeship
Alongside your role, you’ll complete the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship with The Marketing Trainer.

Training is delivered remotely alongside your job through a combination of interactive workshops, one-to-one coaching and independent learning. You’ll build a portfolio of evidence using genuine marketing projects completed as part of your role before progressing to the apprenticeship assessment.
You’ll also work towards the CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing, giving you an additional industry-recognised marketing qualification alongside your apprenticeship.
