Hire a marketing apprentice in Birmingham
We help Birmingham employers recruit, train and keep marketing talent — funding, training and admin handled from our base just down the road in Coventry.
Birmingham has the largest concentration of employers in the Midlands and, with several universities and a young population, one of the deepest pools of early-career talent in the country. What it doesn't have is enough businesses converting that into trained marketers — most of the demand still goes to agencies or to hires that smaller firms can't afford.
A marketing apprenticeship is the route in between. You get someone in the business full-time, learning your market, with the training funded and delivered by us.
This works well for Birmingham employers who are
- Professional services firms who need consistent marketing output but can't justify a senior hire to produce it
- Manufacturers and B2B businesses whose marketing has never really been anybody's actual job
- Growing agencies and consultancies who want to build junior capability rather than keep buying it in
- Larger employers with an apprenticeship levy balance they aren't fully spending
Recruitment is included
We source and shortlist candidates for you at no cost, and we're recruiting across the West Midlands continuously. You can see the marketing candidates currently available near your postcode on the talent matching page — it updates every week.
What your apprentice learns
Our Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship covers marketing theory, understanding your customer, marketing planning, campaign management with data analysis, marketing tactics including website, SEO and email, content creation, branding and marketing sustainability. A Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification is embedded at no extra cost.
They learn it on your campaigns, not on case studies. See the full twelve-month journey.
Paying the levy?
Birmingham has a high concentration of employers over the £3m pay bill threshold. If that's you, your funds expire after 24 months — see how to spend your apprenticeship levy.
What it costs
For apprentices under 25, the training is 100% government-funded — you pay nothing towards it. For apprentices aged 25 and over, it's 95% funded. Depending on who you hire, you may also qualify for hiring incentives worth thousands, including the Youth Jobs Grant.
The ROI calculator will give you a rough figure in about a minute, or we can give you exact numbers for your business on a call.
Let's find out how a marketing apprentice could boost your business
